Children’s Ministry and Nursery
Children’s Ministry (JK–Gr. 5; ages 4-10)
Our belief is that the church should be a community that kids love, and that partners with parents to help their children come to trust in Jesus and grow in their walk with God. WTBC Kids is engaging bible teaching aimed at seeing children come to faith & equipping them to build lives that don't fall into the subtle, destructive ways of living that are all around them.
If it is your first time having your children join our Children’s Ministry, please have one parent accompany the child upstairs for registration.
During our 10AM Service
Classes for children, based on the Growing in God’s Word Curriculum, happen each week during the sermon portion of our main service for children in JK – Grade 5. In this time, children are taught the life-changing message of God's Word. Rooted in historic Reformed truth and designed for ages K–5, this fun curriculum helps young hearts to love God’s Word, understand who God is and what He has done for us through Jesus Christ.
During our main 10AM service, children are welcome to remain with their parents in the serve or to attend the children’s classes.
Infants & Nursery
There is a Nursing Moms’ Room available on the main floor of the church in the room at the front right of the sanctuary.
There are two changing tables at our church: one in the Nursing Moms’ Room on the main floor and one upstairs in the Nursery.
Toddlers (ages 1-3) and infants are welcome to be dropped off at our Nursery during the service where there are typically 3 police-checked volunteers to help watch young children. Parents are also welcome to stay with their child if that is helpful.
Nursery (Ages 0–3)
Childcare for babies up to children 3 years old is provided during the 10AM main gathering during the sermon by trained, police-checked volunteers in a safe and fun environment. Children must be signed in and volunteers should be alerted to any food allergies or sensitivities. Thank you!
A Nursing Mom’s Room, equipped with a livestream of the service, is available. To get there, walk on the right side of the Sanctuary to the front of the room, turn right into the doorway, turn right again and you will see the Nursing Mom’s Room.
